Data deletion

Customers and leads

Contact the dealership that collected your information. The dealership controls its customer records and is best placed to verify your identity, locate related leads, messages, documents and vehicle records, and decide what must be retained for legal or contractual reasons.

Dealership staff

Ask a dealership administrator to remove or deactivate your staff account. Administrators can manage staff in Admin, export business data and review the audit history. Removing a user does not automatically remove commercially required records that identify who performed an action.

Dealership account closure

The authorised account owner can request closure through the contact route in the ShowroomArc order form. The platform administrator verifies authority, records the request, applies the contractual grace period, creates a verified backup and moves tenant data into recoverable deletion quarantine before final purge. Export any information the dealership must keep before requesting closure.

Google and Gmail data

  1. A dealership administrator can remove a connected Google mailbox from Settings → Integrations in ShowroomArc.
  2. The Google account holder can separately revoke ShowroomArc from the connections or third-party access section of their Google Account.
  3. Revoking access prevents future Gmail synchronisation but does not automatically erase email history already retained by the dealership for its business or legal purposes.
  4. The authorised dealership account owner can request deletion of retained synced Gmail records by emailing privacy@showroomarc.com. The request must identify the dealership and mailbox but must not include a password, access token or message content.

Facebook and Meta data

  1. In Facebook, open Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites.
  2. Select ShowroomArc and choose Remove to withdraw the app authorisation.
  3. Ask the dealership administrator to disconnect the Facebook Page or WhatsApp connection in Settings → Integrations if the business connection must also be removed.
  4. For a deletion request relating to the ShowroomArc Meta app, email privacy@showroomarc.com from the address associated with the request. Include the dealership name, connected Facebook Page or WhatsApp business name, and the Meta confirmation information shown to you. Do not send passwords, access tokens or identity documents by ordinary email.

ShowroomArc will acknowledge a verified request, provide a reference and either delete the relevant app-held data or explain any lawful retention requirement. Removing an app connection does not itself delete information independently controlled by a dealership.

Before sending a request

Do not include customer message contents, passwords or provider tokens. ShowroomArc or the dealership may request proportionate information through a safer channel to confirm identity and prevent unauthorised deletion.
